Irresponsible Moaning Anthem
I’ve never thought that the thing to do was crying,
Even when you see everybody’s dying;
Even when you do not know what is lying
Ahead; just close your eyes for a little sighing.
I’ve never thought that you need fall into darkness
Even in order to be, for once, merciless.
Just forget your mother’s ugly sweetness;
Your wilderness; her sordid, livid softness.
I’ve never thought that you always need a seizure
To reach what people call “pleasure”.
Why don’t you just follow the order of nature
And ignore what might be brought in the future?
I’ve never thought that you would forever be mine
Because I’m not stupid: I can read between the lines.
If you’ve got a brain, you can follow the signs
And disappear from the earth, from what I call the Mine.
I’ve never thought that I would someday commit suicide.
It has always been out of my crazy mind
Since the very day I realized I could see behind
Myself when I was before a mirror – since the very first tide.
But stop it!
I hate your moaning.
Swallow it!
I love your crying
Your despair
Your fear
Your dismay
My…sear.
